Assembly and testing of Ariel Square four Alternators
|
The Ariel Square Four alternators are produced in small batches of around 5 to 10 units. The secondhand components from the donor alternators are cleaned and checked both mechanically and electrically. All the major components are produced using CNC facilities before being hand fitted in the workshop. Our custom built test rig runs each alternator for about 30 minutes under load so that we can confirm correct output and regulation. Before despatch each unit is allocated a serial number and details are recorded to ensure traceability in the event of future service being required. |
