Fitting the Alternator
|
Although the unit is slightly bulkier than the original Ariel Square Four Lucas dynamo it retains the chrome end cap and so at a glance appears standard. The dynamo strap is also retained. Fitting of the unit is as straightforward as removing and refitting a dynamo. To allow ease the fitting the strap is fitted after the alternator is in place. To make this process easier extra long anchor pins made from silver steel are supplied with the alternator. |
